Mission Statement

Camp SHOUT has been a ministry of Jubilee Fellowship Church in St. Catharines, Ontario since 2004. The purpose of this ministry is to extend God’s love through a fun, safe, subsidized, Christian summer day camp for local children going into grades 1 through 6. Our goal is to enrich summertime experiences through art, Bible stories, songs, games and physical activities. We want to build long-lasting relationships with camper families and encourage them to develop healthy relationships with God and our community.

Camp SHOUT is offered at an exceptionally low cost to accommodate low-income families and newcomers to Canada. We cultivate networks with existing community social services to optimize family support. We welcome children from marginalized families who may not be able to afford other camp alternatives. We ask families to take this into consideration and use their own discretion when registering their child(ren).

Camp SHOUT has several leadership opportunities for adolescents and young adults. We hope to mentor and empower young people in positions of leadership in ministry. Staff and volunteers have the opportunity to develop and utilize character and team-building skills.

Camp SHOUT values love, acceptance and community. It is our goal to grow and cultivate the seeds of God’s love among and beyond Jubilee Fellowship.
